Review of Strauss R: Elektra (2010) by Tj H — 09 Jul 2011

I agree, this movie is not the best. But, at the same time I don't think it's the worst. And yes, as much as I love Jennifer Garner, she's also not the ideal choice to play Elektra. I partially blame the screenwriters as to why this movie bombed.

They took such an interesting, unique character and made her boring. I'm not a big comic book reader, but this is one character whose comic books I have read (yes, I am a geek, haha). They could have made such a good, interesting movie if they would have actually followed the Elektra's story.

While the Director's Cut is *slightly* better than the original, it's not enough to save this confusing mess of a movie. Too bad really.
