Strangers on a Train, with Hitchcock's mastery at its best, depicts a very intriguing duality in the battle of wits between Guy and Bruno, two of some of the best developed characters in cinema. With one possessing the innocence and guilt of human nature, and the other a victim of cynicism, this film has your eyes open wider and wider with each turning point.
