Review of Strangers on a Train (1951) by Mackenzie S — 18 May 2008
I always thought I had seen this. Turn out no. Saw it this weekend for the first time. It could not have been hyped enough. This may be the best Hitchcock movie, perhaps the best thriller ever made. Compelling, creepy, funny, suspenseful, darkly psychological.
The imagery was stunning, camera work and symbolism, fantastic!
