Review of Strangers on a Train (1951) by Paul M — 05 Nov 2008

Granted I probably should have given this film more close attention while watching it and having little experience with Hitchcock films a lot of the nuance of his style was probably lost on me, but I found the acting to be a little eccentric at times to the point of unbelievability.

Maybe it's just the antiquated ways of old hollywood, except I know of films from this period that are timeless in their style. The plot is interesting and certainly very dramatic in the end, but I expected a little more suspense overall.
