There are quite a few movies that would have never been made had this one was not made. "Strangers on a Train" is not just vintage or classic Hitchcock.
Two men need to have people "removed" from their lives but don't want to get caught, so they decide to swap. One holds up his end of the bargain, but the other finds he can't do it. Great and chilling.
