One of Alfred Hitchcock's finest! Guy Haines (Granger) is a tennis player who meets the eccentric Bruno (Walker) on a train. They visit, but out of the blue, Bruno brings up the idea of swapping murders: Bruno kills Guy's wife, and Guy kill Bruno's father, therefore having the perfect murder.

At first, Guy doesn't think much of it, but when Bruno kills Guys trampy wife Miriam, that's when he knows something horrible is going on. "Strangers on a Train" has been a film that everyone has said I need to see.

I can't believe I took so long to finally see it! Alfred Hitchcock stylized this film wonderfully, and somehow makes the entire film have a feeling of anxiety, because many scenes are not predictable.

Every time I look for the little tweaks and perks that make his films so unique and I found many here (I'm not going to tell you any, you just need to see it yourself). I read the book actually after seeing this, and thought it was good, but it just doesn't even beat this still! It always seems like when books turn into movies, the film turns bad, however this does not.

The notorious death scene is so impressive yet scarring, it will stick in your brain forever. Hitchcock does a superb adaption of it. The actors are at their finest here, and the director is at is peak, which is definitely reasons to watch.

"Strangers on a Train" is definitely not overrated.
