Entertaining yes but this is one on Hitchcock's average. It was beautiful to look at and had a great set. Especially the last scene of the marry-go-round. That was just wow. Everything else was good.

The acting was okay, it could have been better. The writing was great. There weren't any good one liners but the strength is in the full script. The idea for this was pure genius although I think today they could made it better and more complex.

They could have also gone more in dept with Bruno's character. It could have been a great character study. The production value was really good. Why can't they go back to the old style of film production? That strangle scene was also great.

It looks like it was scary and disturbing back then buy now-a-days it's really tamed. Of course that doesn't take from the experience.
