Review of Strangers on a Train (1951) by Drew R — 02 Sep 2014
Excellent film. Two men meet on a train, one a tennis star who is wants a divorce from his jerk wife, the other a spoiled psychopath who wants his father dead...mostly because his dad wants him to get a job.
The psychopath concocts a plan in which they swap murders, the tennis star humors him and leaves....but when the psychopath actually kills the tennis star's wife...things get complicated. It's a great thriller, with a great premise and a thrilling climax.
A fantastic Hitchcock picture.
