Review of Stranger Than Paradise (1984) by Juliana W — 13 Feb 2008
Jim Jarmusch has created a catalog of quirky yet funny films. This one is one of his earliest. A funny little story about a man who winds up going on a small odyssey with his Hungarian cousin and his best friend that takes them from New York City to Cleveland to Florida.
Like most af Jarmush's films the comedy is subtle yet sharp. Definately worth checking out against his more recent film, Broken Flowers. Highly recomended for fans of movoes that are off the beaten path.
