Review of Stranger Than Paradise (1984) by Michael S — 17 May 2008
This movie is like a Brett Easton Ellis novel come to life... and presented in much the same way. Flat, matter-of-fact, stark, simple. I found it completely absurd and exasperating in a great way. The overblown exposures were excellent, giving the settings the same, drab, boringass feeling.
