Review of Stranger Than Fiction (2000) by Brandon D — 12 Jun 2012
I actually enjoyed this film. I think for some reason, maybe because it took me so long to see it, I was looking for reasons that it shouldn't be working. But the movie kept on impressing me. The characters are solid and the multiple mediums and their dynamic within the film really kept me wondering what is going to happen and will it be satisfying.
Crick's transformation was cool but it's really Eiffel's change that really puts the movie in a higher space. Hoffman is great as usual and Maggie adds a nice charm.
