What a terrible film. Kevin Smith has never been what one would describe as a visual stylist but this film looks like it was made for TV - and even that is a generous comparison. Still, good films can be made even without stunning or memorable visuals, right? Sure they can, Smith can attest with his debut movie 'Clerks'.
However, unlike that film, this generic, unfunny turd has an awful screenplay and two thoroughly annoying unlikeable protagonists to compound its complete lack of cinematographic prowess. Never close to being an amusing comedy, Cop Out makes similar films like The Other Guys look like Citizen Kane by comparison.
Avoid.
