Review of Strange Magic (2015) by Jasmine M — 26 Jan 2015

I took my sisters to see Strange Magic the day it came out, and I found I actually liked it despite the fact that some of the songs were a bit annoying. The animation was amazing, and there were a number of hilarious jokes later on in the movie.

The beginning of the movie was a bit slow, but a large part of that I felt was due to not knowing what to expect. It's definitely a movie that would appeal to children, and would appeal more to older audiences if they had not used a number of recent pop songs and gave the chance to explore the characters more.

This movie isn't as bad as most people have made it out to be and I would be more than willing to see it again in theatres.
