Review of Strange Magic (2015) by Jade P — 12 Feb 2017

Ok, so I hate CGI (at least the overuse of it) and I dislike most pop music so this movie had two strikes against it going in but it was too freaking corny and adorable in the absolute best way possible!! It was so stinking cute! I honestly cannot understand why something this fun and cute gets such bad reviews and something as horrifically crummy as Frozen did well.

Once again, I don't like computer animation but as far as it goes this CG was WAY better than Frozen, the characters were more fun and interesting in both personality and design. Despite the fact it was all pop music I think the music was way better in Strange Magic (seriously, how does anyone like the songs from Frozen? They are horrible!) and the vocals in it are really great!

I will definitely continue to enjoy this movie and recommend it to others. It is way better than it gets credit for! Like unicorns flying over sugar coated rainbows of adorable!
