The animation is gorgeous! The story is very lacking. Very boring until the end. The script seemed to be written around the music rather than the music made to fit the scenes. It seems the movie was made so we could incorporated songs from a playlist on George Lucas's iPod.
The beauty and the beast story has been done and nothing surprised me. The story was made for children but some of the images may be frightening to the audience it is targeting. The good news with this one is that it kept Lucas busy so he wouldn't interfere with "Star Wars".
