Strange Magic did not have the magic spark that it needed to make it a great animation film. Unfortunately, the movie fell short in many aspects. First off, everybody has heard this story told countless times, and there is nothing new here.
The plot was really uneven, and could not balance on its own. The visuals and animation were amazing, as well as the voice actors and songs, but this was not enough to save Strange Magic from its weaknesses.
It is better to watch with younger kids, as adults won't have too much to enjoy here. 2/5.
