It's a neat concept but it really poorly executed. The music choice is odd but some work, others turn out as a eye rolling cliche. Elijah Kelley really shines and really should be in more musical films and it has a nice cast but the animation is really ugly and kind of unoriginal to other past animated films, the one that jumped to me was Epic from a few years ago.
Nice try but they could have done a lot better work with this.
