Review of Strange Days (1995) by Stefano L — 03 Dec 2011
Bigelow was so much better as a director back then (1995). So was Feinnes. Whatever happened to the great Angela Bassett? The movie, about remote viewing recording technology used in a dystopian police state in 1999- is a weird mix of powerfully staged counterculture and self-defeating fallacies- why does the hero want to give the evidence of the police execution of Tupac I mean whatever his fictive name is- to the top police? Stupid.
Also writer James Cameron invokes a lot of so called conspiracy memes to show that such are really random events the police/governing authorities will ultimately take care of and the world will be a better place.
Once James Cameron always James Cameron.
