Review of Strange Days (1995) by Bill H — 20 Jan 2011
Okay, I kinda dismissed the film early on (and rated it 2.5/5 stars)... now being a nostalgic nut (similarly to some of the characters in this film), I realize this is more than just a film full of camera tricks, and it was completely unfair of me to dismiss it solely on the now kind of dated technology (virtual reality).
Seems like a lot of '90s films were going gaga over it, and Strange Days may be the pinnacle of portrayals that is unique and in some ways a tad more plausible. Need to type more, but overall, vastly underrated and perhaps one of the best films of the 1990s.
