Review of Strange Days (1995) by Greg T — 01 Jan 2012
On technical merit alone, this movie is amazing. Everything from extended and seamless p.o.v. scenes to cameras that don't exist in mirrors and entire city blocks lit for night time shooting, Kathryn Bigelow really knows her stuff.
The story is also pretty good and the cast is made up of the right people but at the same time the whole thing just screams 1995 to me. I'm not sure what I mean by that but if you feel the same way, you might understand.
