Review of Straight Outta Compton (2015) by Kenneth L — 15 May 2016

I was never a fan of gangster rap and mostly ignored it during it's rise in the early 90s. If you had told me that one day someone would make a fantastic biopic about Eazy-E, I wouldn't have believed you.

But, after watching the director's cut of this film, I am a believer now. This was an excellently made film with a fascinating story that kept me enthralled throughout the nearly 3 hour running time.

Well worth watching.
