Solondz did it again. If you've seen Happiness then you're familiar with his darkly satiric and generally cynical perspective on middle-class suburbia. This movie got to me; it cuts unflinchingly close to the bone.
Consider it like the raw underbelly of American Beauty without the veneer and levity.
