Review of Stormbreaker (2006) by Red L — 12 Feb 2008
Unlike Harry Potter, which can easily be enjoyed by adults and kids alike, this has limited appeal. Clichéd up to the max. At first I thought Alex Pettyfer was going to make it feel like I was watching the Frosties "They're Gonna Taste Great" commercial for 90 mins.
But he wasn't too bad. The plot has so many holes in it but largely you don't notice them until you really think about it. I wish I hadn't watched this. Bill Nighy is the only saving grace in this.
