Review of Storm in a Teacup (1937) by Tracey C — 06 Aug 2007
It's a cute comedy that's genuinely funny. Rex Harrison is his usual charming self, and has a great chemistry with Vivien Leigh. Sara Allgood steals the film as the offending dog's owner. What I like most about this film is that it has a anti-animal cruelty message that's really rare for its time.
Harrison's speech about watching a cart horse being abused by its owner is really great and almost moving.
