This was a pleasent surprise for me as I thought it would be just awful. Joseph Gorden Levitt impresses yet again; it's just a matter of time before he gets the recognition he deserves. Ryan Phillippe actually impressed me as well in this.
Although it seems from the cover and the first half hour that its going to be some Texan boys running around glorifying war and acting like ignorant tough guys; it is quite the opposite. I think this movie is worth a good rent.
