Review of Stop-Loss (2008) by Leanne K — 15 Aug 2009
Touching film, with some good performances, but Phillippe and the incredibly dull Abbie Cornish just aren't engaging enough to carry the film. That said, you do feel just how desperate their situation is.
The Gordon-Levitt subplot and the visits to a grieving family and an injured soldier are the high points of the film, just a shame they are so brief.
