With a cast featuring Robert DeNiro and Edward Norton you expect great things. Unfortunately, âStoneâ? sinks likes itâ(TM)s namesake into an ocean of mediocrity and boredom. DeNiro is manipulated by Norton (playing the Stone character) and his girlfriend (played by Milla Jovivich) into getting released from imprisonment.
What could have been a solid psychological drama devolves into standard bizarre love triangle posturing and the film is so slow moving it will be hard to keep awake to catch the under-whelming finale.
