Oh my God! Why do trailers decieve me?! This movie was such a huge waste of my time. I'm not even really sure what the point of it was - something to do with God I think (which I totally didn't know was a part of this movie and was rather confused about the whole thing). THey call this a thriller? That's a lie. There were no thrills at all. Maybe some small hiccups of suspence but they were quickly subdued again and this movie really never went anywhere. The characters were weird and I couldn't understand their motivations (mostly) or their actions in general. Oh, and there is a sex scene that I would gladly permanently erase from my memory if that were possible *shudder*. All in all, I couldn't stand this. I only really watched it for Edward Norton, and truth be told, the one star is only for him. This sucked.
What did this movie teach me? Just because Edward Norton is in it, does not mean it will be a good movie.
