Review of Stolen Kisses (1968) by Samuel C — 10 Jun 2007
This is my favorite Antoine Doinel movie. I love the character of Antoine Doinel. He's childish, doesn't think things through, impulsive, etc. Like much of nouvelle vague cinema, this movie focuses more on characters than plot.
The cinematography is also gorgeous, I find myself pausing frames in Truffaut movies like this to draw them pretty often.
