Review of Stolen Kisses (1968) by Wut S — 19 Jun 2007
Out of Traffaut's other films I've watched, it has a strange tempo. A lot of sudden character actions termination through cutting make the whole film slightly mysterious, even though the plot isn't what you would call mystery in anyway.
The movie itself is rather good, though it could be called boring at times (I tend to feel bored at a certain point when viewing the French New Wave films).
I neither have watched The 400 Blows and Antoine and Colette, both films feature the same male protagonist, so I couldn't fully comment on how "charming" this movie is like everyone else claims it to be.
