(1980) Stir Crazy.
COMEDY.
Framed and then sentenced for a crime they didn't commit, Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder plan for an immediate escape with the help of other inmate prisoners!
Directed by actor Sidney Poitier, this film is heavy in laughs at the beginning but turns drama as the film progresses with a happy ending, of course! The first time I saw this, the few of the funny scenes alone, especially when they were in prison is worth the price of admission!
3 out of 4.
