Review of Still Alice (2014) by Stephen L — 19 Jun 2015
I wish I could give this more stars. The actors laid bare the vulnerability of the character's emotions and strengths with a rawness I have rarely felt in anything coming out in our current era. Clearly a perfect culmination of author, writers, directors and actors.
A glimpse into the dramatic change that such a diagnosis as Alzheimer's wields on the victim and ultimately the family and friends. Nothing is ever the same. This movie propels the audience to experience an intimate view from the very center.
Make sure that you keep at least one tissue on hand...you will need it.
