Review of Still Alice (2014) by Deborah M — 22 Sep 2015
A chronicle of a personal tragedy that is moving, with an exceptional performance by Moore and a solid one by Stewart. I typically like Alec Baldwin and he has his moments in this one, but I agree with the New York Magazine review which opines that his less nuanced performance suggests the character may be having an affair.
Julianne Moore, on the other hand, deserved her Oscar.
