Although in the late 90's I thought we had our fill about the devil with movies like devils advocate lost souls and end f days but what I liked about the movie are the strong character development, the great camera angles and a decent satoryline. I was entertained by most of the movie. I thought Patricia arquette and Gabtriel did some good work here and hvae wonderful chemistry.
Worth a look for horror fans.
