Review of Stick It (2006) by Blæke W — 02 Jul 2013
I like the wry smile feel about this movies 'apparatus' and routine. Moral boosting pro college, like whatever sarcastic pun on 'just for the movies sake'.
Some good footage, everyone like's to look at pro gymnasts albeit cute ones, going on with it, nailing maneuvers and stickin it, but not on a boring sustained level of viewing. 'stick it' is probably better for the contemporary choreography edge of competition and the promotion of the sport than real feature entertainment value but i'd give a pass for getting youth on the right track that they may have been destined for before adolescence takes a selfish view for the rest of their lives memory of their talent, boys and girls can reflect or be inspired upon though this is much more feminine than the dozens of footy or racing films in past produced.
All the gils are fun n bubbly and act well enough though the leads character in times just needs a good shut up. Jeff Bridges is a marvelous actor and this doesn't hold him back.
