Yes, Steve Vai still shreds like it's 1989. Yes, he strapped a fan on a stage monitor so his hair would blow like, well, Beyonce. Yes, it's 2+ hour show filled with ridiculously fast-played music.
The guy still has a sense of humor though and perhaps more importantly, hasn't lost that child-like curiosity and enthusiasm which made every guitar kid in the world fell for him more than twenty years ago.
;^) The hot violinist was a nice touch. Fun show!
