Review of Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine (2015) by M C — 11 Sep 2015
The doc is very good at staying objective. I didn't like the first 20 minutes and the edit starting with his death is simply a buzz kill but the film gains momentum and poignancy. Yes, Apple made us all creative but ruined the creatives.
It made us socially awkward since every spare minute we have, instead of talking to people around us, we invest back into the iPhone. But it would have gone this way regardlessly, with or without this egomaniac tech-wiz with a knack for design.
