Review of Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine (2015) by Brandon W — 22 May 2016
Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine is directed by Alex Gibney, and it's about Steve Jobs's life when he's at Apple when he did the wondrous things that he has done to the people, and the horrible things that he has done to his own crew without the public knowing about what he actually is.
I don't know why I keep watching different films about Steve Jobs. I think it's because I just find him fascinating in how he's loved by the public, but also gets away with stuff when he's a jerk to his own staff.
So with further due, let's get to this fantastic documentary. There are some facts that I know because of Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs, but there are tons of facts in here that I actually didn't know about, and there are some details in here that were addressed that I actually wanted it to be in Danny Boyle's version.
Despite it being 2 hours long, there are a lot in there that kept me interested in what's going on. There are parts in here that made me felt more sorry for Steve Jobs, and there are some other parts that got me hating him a bit more.
The documentary does delve into his complex mind, and it sort of understands like most of the viewers would understand about why Steve Jobs thinks like that or why does he act like that, which Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine does a very good job of showing the facts of what Steve Jobs really is, and whether it'll change people's minds about the main subject himself is up to them.
