Review of Steve Jobs (2015) by Byron B — 30 Apr 2016
I enjoyed the combined efforts of this ensemble cast, Danny Boyle, and Aaron Sorkin. Michael Fassbender is climbing the ranks of top versatile actors in Hollywood. Jumping through time to highlight various Apple computer launches, including a flashback to show the origins of Jobs/Wozniak, really works for telling the story of the digital revolution.
But it is not only about the technology. We are allowed to peer into the backstage intrigue of Jobs's relationships with his daughter, his mentor, a former partner, an employee, and his loyal secretary.
Recent history recounted with flare.
