Review of Steve Jobs (2015) by Carlos R — 10 Jan 2017
Though this movie is a dramatisation, it is still quite interesting. Rapid-fire dialogue within multiple simultaneous conversations has that Sorkin feel and, especially with appearance of Jeff Bridges, it feels a lot like "The Newsroom".
It is a minimalist screenplay that has difficulty maintaining audience interest for its duration; the film is structured as sort of a three act play, with each act taking place right before three very important reveals for Apple, however, it is only in the final section that Michael Fassbender begins to feel like Jobs.
