Not at all the film you're expecting, but the best Steve Jobs film you're going to get. The film is a series of vignettes that take place before various Apple product launches, and while they don't necessarily connect together; they form an intricate, devastating and beautiful portrait of a man.
Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen (at his absolute best), and Jeff Daniels are phenomenal. Steve Jobs is a film about the man, it focuses very little on his achievements but instead on his relationship with various people he considered friends.
The heart of this film is his relationship with his daughter Lisa. Steve Jobs tells it's story through an emotional landscape, and indeed it is a very emotional film. The direction by Danny Boyle and the script by Aaron Sorkin are superb.
Steve Jobs is a phenomenal film that I would highly recommend.
