Review of Steve Jobs (2015) by Lewis E — 24 Apr 2016
Fassbender and co all bring a sarcastic, argumentative zest that adds a feisty substance to the conversations/self-righteous rants which the movie is almost solely based upon. Although very well written and structured into three acts before computer launch events, listening to Steve Jobs and friends quarrel over repetitive issues is not overly exhilarating and makes it quite monotone.
Nevertheless the successful conveyance of the intellectual and self-assured yet difficult personality of the Apple co-founder is enough to hold proceedings together.
