Review of Step Up Revolution (2012) by Daniel V — 21 Aug 2012

I have never seen a Step Up movie, but of course I was gonna see this one. People need to know that this 4 star rating is for what the movie is, a dance movie. They didn't give much to the actors as far a story and development go, but that's not the point.

The point is that this movie is about dancing and wow can these people dance. The dance sequences are so well choreographed and conceived that you will be dancing in aisles along with them. Ryan Guzman has a natural charm that is undeniable and charisma to burn.

I can't wait til someone gives him a chance to show what he can really do. He will be a star. Don't believe me, just watch the scene he does with his movie niece. Also, it is one of the best uses of 3-D, which is never a distraction and makes the dance scenes that much more dynamic.
