Review of Step Up Revolution (2012) by Yamin R — 23 Sep 2012
So far actually, the best rated Step up movie ever ( yes, you heard me right), but alas, the leading girl was a mess. The girl can dance, no question mark, but her acting skills are terrible..its not that she is deprived of all talent, its more that she feels uncomfortable in front of the camera..and you can see it* she avoids looking straight into it, and when closed up, she prefers to hold her head very low...
Her partner has more acting talent, but his character was a copy of channing tatums in step up 1.
The story is highly unoriginal, and the beginning is so slow I nearly screamed at the two characters. The second half is lightly better, but the movie as a whole is far too unbalanced because the story in the second part of it is more interesting than the movie as a whole. in my opinion, they should have brough up the " Neighberhood drama" from the beginning...but, as a reward, this one has the best dance scenes. EVER. Danceing never looked at the same time so 1) sexy 2) sensual 3) energating 4) del.
Electrifying 5) delicate...the 3d is for once well used and the cameraman definetily is a keeper....
