Review of Steamboy (2004) by Savanna S — 08 Mar 2007

I found this movie amazing! I found it very good and interesting because it was very different from other animes I have scene, from its scenery and ideas. It's definetly an underrated film by Katsuhiro Otomo.

The characters were all very good and memorable. Some scenes were just breathtaking! The story in general was also very unique and good. As much as at some points in the movie it was a little slow, it was ok because it was all worth it for the end, which was just fantastic! For a bit of advice it's better to watch this movie in its original Japanese audio, but the English audio was surprisingly and a lot better than some other movies.

This is a great movie for recommendation, so without hesitation I give it two thumbs up! :).
