Review of Steamboat Bill, Jr. (1928) by Mickey S — 06 Jun 2007
This is easily one of the best films I've ever seen. When Keaton goes to sleep between the rich boat and the poor boat the simbolism is so clear and poignant but not in any way campy or over the top.
Plus he moves. Keaton acts with his whole body, breaking each gesture into a clearly readable sign. Better than The General.
