Review of Steamboat Bill, Jr. (1928) by Steven B — 08 Jun 2007
Competes with The General and Sherlock, Jr. as my fave Keaton flick, partly due to that iconic falling-building stunt, but mostly because of the laser-keen timing of Buster's gags and the richness of his pantomimic skills (watch how he attempts to explain--sans dialogue--his prison break scheme.
Genius.) The finale is a tour de force of stuntwork. Literally breathtaking.
