Review of Steamboat Bill, Jr. (1928) by Alex M — 03 Jan 2011
You know that scene where one side of a house falls on a standing person only to be unscathed because of an open window? This is the original plus it used a real wall. this is said to be buster keatons last great movie.
he later signed with MGM who supposedly ruined his career by compromising his perfectionist style he had with his old movies. legend says he then became an alcoholic and vanished into obscurity. bummer.
