I found the actual plot to be very lackluster, and I've never been a fan of liv tyler. but somehow at the end I actually felt like I enjoyed this movie.
The film is full of bertolucci's normal excess, and it was shot wonderfully. and I like mid-'90s "modern rock". and jeremy irons is a pretty good actor. so maybe that's why I liked it.
