Review of Steal a Pencil for Me (2007) by Ralph R — 07 Mar 2008
One of the best documentaries I've ever seen, and definitely one of the best documentaries about the Holocaust. It doesn't just focus on the war and the horror, but focuses on the people who witnessed it.
Jack and Ina's story is so beautiful, and they share information and experiences in ways that everyone can easily understand and connect with. This really isn't your run-of-the-mill Holocaust movie (as horrible as that sounds, some films, books, etc.
have a way of trivializing it.) This is just wonderful and speaks about the war, the camps, the people, and so much more.
